Earlier today, the NFL announced that they will relax their strict rules on in-game footwear, and a former NFL player has taken notice.
Chad Johnson, who played in the NFL from 2001-12, is asking for his money back from the league now that they have changed the rules. He was fined $20,000 in 2010 for wearing gold cleats in a game against the Steelers.

Hey, the worst thing that could happen is that the league says no. It’s not like they can fine him now for violating the league’s social media policy (again).
